Unfortunately, we didn’t have coverage for last night’s Suns-Mavs game. That being said, I did watch stretches of the game.
Here’s what I saw: A team feeling great relief by both getting a close, gritty win against one of the top western conference teams, and by getting over a mental hurdle. It appears that Gentry juggled the lineups and tweaked things. Amare didn’t play the entire fourth quarter, and Amundson did his best Shawn Marion impression.
When Cheryl Miller interviewed Nash at the end of the game, he just had a big smile on his face and the fans could tell that was relief.
