SUNS SWEEP CLIPS FOR 2ND YEAR IN A ROW!

Mar-4th-2010

How about that 127-101 ass-whipping the Suns put on the lowly Clips last night? What a performance!!! Frye hit seven threes, Amare went for 30-12 in three quarters of action, Grant Hill destroyed the Clips on both ends, Jason Richardson continued to play well and Gentry coached like a savvy genius.

Is there anything to complain about following last night? Well, yes, unfortunately there is indeed: Goran Dragic rolled his ankle in the game’s final minutes. He is listed as doubtful for tonight’s game vs. Utah.

This means Nash is on his own tonight, thought Dudley and Hill will sub for him when needed. Dragic went off for 32 points in the last meeting with Utah (a Suns loss), so he will be missed.

But with the Suns playing well lately, and badly needing a win over Utah to maintain hopes of a playoff seeding advantage down the road, there should be no lack of motivation. GO SUNS!!

  1. Jason Ellis Said,

Thanks for the post. Too bad about the Suns loss to the Jazz, though. Otherwise a good game except for that ending.
